Hey, thanks! Well, tbh I had a deadline for submitting my artwork for examination and just stumbled upon the idea two days before, so I took about 6 hours one day and then about 6 the next. But the making process was quite compelling
Oh it wasn't that hard really, just took LOADS of layering. I took a picture and lowered its opacity and then built layers of text over it until the image resembled the original. Then you get rid of the original underneath and use a gradient overlay if you want it in colour like I did. I actually saw something like it in a photoshop related mag when I was in London a couple of months ago and figured I might give it a try, but I'm no master of photoshop or anything really which proves it isn't hard at all
Ha same here, I've been using it a while and no how to do basic stuff, just started making some random 'art' and putting it on here. I might give that a go then later, If I do I'll message you with the outcome
Yeah I'm quite self taught, never have been too patient with all the books and tutorials. I think it's more interesting this way, too. You def should give it a try, it's a funny little thing to do, good luck then
Yeah everything I know is from me just watching tutorials or experimenting myself. The hardest part will be thinking of enough works that will describe me xD
Yeah well after like a hundred I started to write out band names and random lines from songs word after word, and when it came to the point I needed longer lines for the eyes or nose, I just took the longest words I could think of at the time ('conscientiously' being my biggest achievement)
